Our story
A shop for people who bring a photo
Foothill Drop started with one idea: that a barber should be able to cut what you are pointing at. A drop that curves the right way. A part with an edge you can see from across the room. A design that took a few minutes to explain and a few more to draw.
We keep four chairs on Tennessee Street. Three belong to the barbers, who book by name. The fourth belongs to whoever walks in.
We talk before we cut, we say how long it will take, and we fix what is not right. That is the whole shop.
How we work
Three habits
Nothing fancy. These are the rules of the floor.
Talk first
Every cut starts with your photo and a minute at the chair. We say what is possible before the clippers come on.
Every head of hair
We cut waves, coils, curls, twists and straight hair, on men, women and teens.
Say how long
Every service has a time. If a design runs longer, we tell you before we start.
Come by the shop
Book a chair, or walk in Tuesday to Saturday.
